An international meeting took place on the 2nd and 3rd of July 2018, in Figueira da Foz, with the consultant Future Balloons as host to discuss the current role of community nurses in the European Union. This event is part of the ENhANCE project, which focuses on the differences between the competences offered by nurses currently working in Primary Health Care (PHC) and those required by public health institutions in accordance with the recommendations of the World Health Organization (WHO). There were around 20 representatives of European universities and institutions from Italy, Belgium, Finland, Greece and Germany specialized in the areas of vocational education and training in the scope of nursing.
